Caterina Tiazzoldi, (Ph.D, M.Arch) teaches at GSAPP Columbia University, Politecnico di Torino, Rhode Island School of Design, IED Milano, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. She is the principal of the award winning interdisciplinary architecture and design practice Caterina Tiazzoldi Studio which was established in 2004. The firm focus on users’ experience and spatial performance. 


Her work has been featured in several significant events and museums such as the GAM Galleria Arte Civica Moderna Torino, Fondazione Museo Castello di Rivoli,  Paris Museum Cite’ Chaillot, Boston Design Museum, Doing and Undergoing 125th Anniversary TC College, Tribeca Film Festival, Artissima, UNESCO Renisla Forum, First Green Open Art Space, Experimenta Design and Torino World Design Capital. 

She collaborated with the american Park service in New York , with the Bronx River art center and the National Park Center in Florida.


Specializing in finding innovative design solutions through the strong interaction between professional research and projects execution, Caterina Tiazzoldi joins force with Yanling, Ohda Chair in various coworking design and art installation projects in China since 2017.
